Way to go Zap!

Yeah, alcohol is about the worst thing ever for weight loss - it both
slows muscle maintenance (by lowering protein uptake by 80%!) AND it
essentially stops fat burn by putting a much better source of energy
into your bloodstream.  It's a one-two wammie.  Toss in some high carb
high fat chips & dip and you'll gain back those 11 lbs fast!

My body is on the carb sensitive side so, to lose fat, I have to drop
my carbs to about 30 per day which is pretty brutal - although I'm
used to it now ...  then on weekends I have the beer and chips and
then back on the wagon on Mondays.
