Picasa (the Program) is great and offers photo management that Flickr
does not have. We use it to do all of our photos and my wife loves it.

Picasa Web which is more of the comparision to Flickr is great for the
aspect that we use it... Select photos in Picasa > upload to album >
email album that is unlisted out to family.

Flickr was just too open for me and I just like the way that PicasaWeb
worked in the way that we wanted which was not the social realm.
