I like the D-Link router software a lot better and the router/card combo seems to work great (my desktop is on the opposite corner of my house, 1 level up, from my router). Plus, it appears that MacBook Pros have Draft-N even though they say they don't because when my Mac connects, it does so on Draft-N and prefers the D-Link router. I have tried the DD-WRT stuff, but mostly I've stuck with the regular firmware. I will say that with my linksys equip I did get droupouts and inconsistent service and found that it mostly happened with WPA-2 w/ non-TKIP encryption. The D-Link allows you to pick encryption methods and my Linksys Wireless bridge prefers TKIP so I have the D-Link setup to use TKIP for the bridge and the other one (can't remember) for everything else. With that set-up I get full power reception on all my wireless devices and haven't had a single drop since. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get the answers you are looking for on the ColdFusion Labs Forum direct from active programmers and developers. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid-72&catid=648 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:245628 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
