My friend and I used to ride our bikes down to the beach in Rhode Island (24 mile trip), set up a lawn chair in the parking lot of a closed inn/b&b, string a rope across the entrance, and sell parking to beachgoers, 10 bucks a day. Which was way cheaper than any of the surrounding "real" parking lots.
By 8:30am we usually had 200 bucks, and would pack up our stuff and re-bury it, and head to the beach. We then had an unlimited budget and would buy some surf clothes (ron jon or later OP), lunch at D'Angelos (number 9 pocket, or sometimes the "watch" pocket), and some new items for the bike. Not quite a "tip", but a great way to earn some money at the age of 15.
