Realtors are funny.. They will pay $2000 for a pair of shoes, $10,000 for a cheesy watch but yet want their web stuff for free or cheap! Just like now he just thinks "cheating" will get him to the top. Those ways havent worked for 7 - 8 years now anyways.
If you want to "cheat" and hide words is to but them in a div and then set the div to visibility: hidden;. I will do that to pre-load images but I'm not sure I would trust that google couldnt figure that out. Although they don't seem to penalize you if you have a link to display it. For example I just did a page last night that has a faq section and all the answers are hidden and when u click on the question it drops down to display the answer, so technically you could do that and be safe. The best way for him to have a chance though is to make several pages and have each one target a keyword or phrase and pile the crap out of keywords in it. Even then his chances are still small. >the client was the one who suggest me hiding the text into the back ground. >he says it has worked for his other sites. yes i know that is wrong as >is having hidden links to pages with key phrase text, as is having it >in commented areas. > >i am just trying to help him sell some thing. >I so do appreciate your feed back! >not sure why i would do a site map for a 1 page site > >yeah, i am not sure why he dosnt shell out real money to sell a 1.5 >million buck property. >oh well. >told him i would ask all your advise, i received EXACTLY what i expected. > >and thanks again! > > > > >> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get involved in the latest ColdFusion discussions, product development sharing, and articles on the Adobe Labs wiki. http://labs/adobe.com/wiki/index.php/ColdFusion_8 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:246101 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
