I really want to like Flex, and I've actually done a couple apps in Flex already, but I really, really, really hate statically typed languages nowadays.
It's painful to me to write code such as: public var myObject:Object = new Object; and everytime I start trying to extend a component, I find myself having to dig through tons of documentation to figure out where something has already been extended from. It's just so java-esque to me.
