I wholeheartedly disagree with the law and the intolerance behind it. I even more strenuously disagree that she violated it.
On the other hand, they certainly have the rights to have the laws that make them happy. But I don't want my tax dollars to support it. Let them make their own laws and decisions. But if they violate the basic human rights I expect, then cut off our money. Cold. Just like I don't expect European countries to help pay for our death penalty.
