Honestly right now it's my most-used console... but balance that with the
fact that I barely touched it for a year before hand. ;^)

When I was commuting on the train I just didn't use it much - I got a lot
more use out of my GameBoy Micro and PocketPC. But lately I've been playing
the PSP at night a bit before bed and while my wife watches "her shows".

There's a lot of great games, across most genres now. Right now I'm in a
Tactical RPG mode and "Jeanne D'Arc" and "Final Fantasy Tactics" both got a
lot of use (I put over 80 hours into "Jeanne"). But "Daxter" and "Vice City
Stories" can be favorably compared to the best of the PS2 library. The next
"God of War" game will be on the PSP and I'm probably going to pick up "Dead
Head Fred" and "Crush" as Christmas presents to myself.

With the new PC-based store you can download games and content without a PS3
(finally) and many of the older UMD games look like they'll be released
online (which I can only assume means a smaller, UMD-less PSP is in the
works). There's a good number of free demo-games available as well.

Since you've got a PS3 there's actually quite a bit to do there. The PSP
can control the PS3 via the internet (or locally) from any WiFi hotspot: you
can use your PS3 media (movies, pictures and audio) and even play a few
games. So far the only game I have that does this is the PSN "Poker" game
but it works great via the network. I really hope that more games add the
capability.

You can also access and use the PSN features: chat (video chat included, but
since the camera's on the PS3 it's not that useful), PlayStation store,
[EMAIL PROTECTED], etc.

What's really cool is that the PS3 doesn't even need to be turned on: you
can remotely trigger the PS3 to boot up, do whatever you want, then shut
itself down.

Movies on the PSP are good and the prices are finally starting to reach the
reasonable point (which for me is about $5).

I've got a four Gig in mine and that's holding four full-length movies, the
original "Spyro the Dragon" from the PS1 and six or 8 game demos with room
to spare.

I've still got the "old" model but the new one is tempting as hell... much
lighter and lots more battery life.
