How long do you think until it gets there.. another month or 2? Especially with
all the european launches of iphone lately.

"Although I'd think that as long as Apple insists on keeping it a closed
platform,
thus greatly restricting what you can use it for, a lot of us just
won't even consider it an option."

Ya know they do have an sdk coming out so you can or write up some ajax.

Btw~ if you don't want to "deal" with it thats fine but you might want to
rethink that.

How long has windows ce been around... and yet in a few short months the iphone
has obliterated it in browser shares.

Oh and then there is all the new ipod touches with wifi that just came out and
after the millions of them that will be sold for xmas and helping add to that
market share, it won't be long until they do pass linux... maybe 4-5 more
months.

"I would expect once it gets 3G

Well it gets 3g next year and personally i dont think it's as big a deal as
most people make it out to be since most people are usually within wifi
distance. I think you are completely wrong on your assessment, the big push
comes from all the millions of kids who don't get an iphone but get an ipod
touch for xmas, since those will count as an iphone browser. Say if there have
been 2 million iphones sold already and their is that kind of share, imagine
what will happen after xmas when another million or 2 iphones sell and 5-10
million ipod touches.
