It's just a matter of time before the technology gets cheaper and 
better.  The more it's used and the more demand there is for it the more 
competitive the prices will be and the more research will go into 
improving it.  It's exciting to see political and economic forces 
pushing renewable energy forward.  Coal's cheaper on it's face, but it's 
difficult to assign the cost of the total impact of burning *anything*.  
Just like it's tough to tell how much damage is caused by producing some 
of the more exotic technologies and materials used for renewables.  It's 
heading the right direction, we just need to try to get there before 
China's coal plants start impacting the air quality (more than it 
already is) globally.
