on a serious note, I wonder if you could fill it with some water, pour a little bit of drano in and and turn on the pump? I know a lot of people have problems with them if they don't use them often. Stuff starts to grow in the plumbing behind the jets since the water is stationary and becomes stagnant. One of my friends would fill the tub once a month, put a cup or two of bleach in the water and run it for a few minutes.
