That's what I'm hearing, a combo of bleach and a bit of dishwashing detergent in hot water and run it for about 15min

I know a lot of people have problems with them if they don't use them often. Stuff starts to grow in the plumbing behind the jets since the water is stationary and becomes stagnant. One of my friends would fill the tub once a month, put a cup or two of bleach in the water and run it for a few minutes.
