I agree - I like lots of space and leg room. I went through a "lots of cubby holes and shelves" phase when I was young... but now I like big and simple. I bought mine from Bush (the "Mission Pointe" collection): http://www.bush-furniture-online.com/bush_WC91310.html There's matching file cabinets and shelves and stuff of course. There's hutch as well but I like the openness without them. It's simple, elegant and functional. The vanity board is big enough to hide wires and mess but open enough at the bottom to route wires and allow easy vacuuming. It's really a simple design... if you've got the skills it shouldn't be hard to replicate something like it.
