Hmmm ... that's funked up. Especially since this is the third AT&T router
we've had in the last two months (for various other reasons) ... between
you, me, and Ian, I'm starting to see a trend

We have the same laptop (DELL Inspiron), and experience the exact same
problem. Windows XP, SP2, AT&T DSL...only difference is, our
router/connection is not wireless.

I have tried EVERYTHING i can possibly think of. Just as with you, the only
way to fix the problem is to completely reboot the machine.

I have gone round and round with AT&T tech support about the issue.....to no
avail. I really think it has something to do with that particular
machine....it's something about that damn laptop but I'll be damned if I
know what. I NEVER have the problem with my PC using the same set up. It's
only that laptop.

Our problem has diminished over time, to where we are only rebooting once
every few weeks, but for awhile, it was once or twice a day as you are
describing.

Doubt this was very helpful...other than someone else feels your pain.
