2600 is a real nice card. You don't need an extra soundcard as it has one
built in and hooked directly to the HDMI connector, which is really a DVI
connecter with an adapter for that card. Thats all well and good if you are
only putting the sound to the TV or a HDMI capable receiver. If you have an
older reciever that you want to use regularly for sound, you may need to go
a different route.
