>I know the argument is that ID is a disguise for Creationism, but >isn't that the same as saying evolution is all about negating a deity?
No, not anymore than any other scientific explanation for what occurs in nature is about negating a deity. We don't need an alternate theory for weather patterns, or gravity, or earthquakes, or mountains, or any myriad of natural phenomenon that ancient cultures attributed to god(s). Nor do people feel the need to come up with some pseudo-scientific explanations for these or else feel their religion is threatened by them....they accept that these occur naturally and that just because they do, does not mean God does not still play some role in our lives that is beyond our understanding and perception. Why should natural evolution of species be any different? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:249846 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
