I thought you might have been talking about one of those cases where they play a 'made for tv' movie and then decide to try and make a series and I had missed this original airing. I don't actually watch that much television any more. Gave up cable some months back and there is just not that much broadcast television I care to view. I still haven't given this downloading thing much of a try yet. Last time I looked it was just not plug-and-play enough for me, and I just don't have the time or inclination to put all the pieces together myself.
You are talking about seeing an advanced copy of what is going to be soon aired.
