I've it installed since it was released (got Office 2007 free at a launch event). I wouldn't call it "resource lite" but it doesn't seem to have any obvious leaks. However a lot of apps - especially virus and spam protection apps - work as plug-ins to Outlook. Could one of these be active that's maybe not certified for Office 2007 (or just plain sucks)?
