One problem I have here (Scranton) is that Comcast bought in to the area - so we're still using all the old (and crappy) Adelphia equipement but paying Comcast rates. We're switching our TV to DirectTV (more channels for half the cost) and thought we'd try switching out Internet too. I think we'll go back. However one nagging issue with Comcast here is upload speed. I often get my 6M download (and sometimes a bit higher, nice considering the infrastructure) but upload speeds are atrocious. It takes me 4 hours to upload a 300 Meg file to my dedicated server. Surprisingly DSL actually offers MUCH faster upload speeds. Still... it's pretty clear that 3Mbps is below my threshold for considering a download "fast". ;^) Jim Davis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:250380 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
