I've gone between Cable and DSL at least 6 times in my lifetime. Once I got married and moved into this house I got cable and vonage as the phone service. Well comcast kept going out and least 5 times a day... and always when my wife was on the phone, so therefore Vonage sucked. With kids in the house she would freak because the phone would stop working and she didn't have a cell at the time.
After 3 months of that I got Bellsouth DSL and a landline and haven't looked back. The DSL has been rock solid and I get 6 down and about 512 up. Now that I work from home I would much rather have reliability then "faster" speed... and I say "faster" because I can remember getting a 64k ISDN and thinking WOW 10 Kbps download was the fastest $h!t ever! After getting 4 service men to come out for comcast none of them could figure out the issue... I call the cancel and the lady says "oh we could have sent out a teir 2 guy to look at the pole and do tracing in the area" yeah too little too late. About the only thing I would change is FTTP which is just the coolest thing ever. J.J. On 1/10/08, C. Hatton Humphrey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Be careful.
