what particularly isn't PC is when Emeril makes the food "happy" (and of
course the audience loves it).

Keep in mind that this isn't a Graham Kerr or a Julia Child, but a guy from
a Portuguese blue-collar family who kinda walks the walk and talks the talk.

I was surprised by the "chef week" on A&E Biography some months back
(Graham, Julia, Wolfgang, Emeril) revealing what terribly dysfunctional
families some of these folks grew up in and/or had as adults.

BTW, I also enjoy the "Best Of" shows and the delightful young British guy
on "Naked Chef", forget his name.
