I cannot fault her for quitting CNN and joining the Romney campaign. I have read that supporting a fellow Morman is a tenet of the Church, so kudos to her on that.
But I just saw her on TV, saying that Huckabee is killing babies to further his own ego. She actually said that. (Not a direct quote, but that was exactly what she said) Her argument: Huckabee is just still in the race to help McCain, because McCain will make him VP. And by supporting McCain, he is supporting, and _causing_, the death of babies. Now that is a pretty scary and mean charge from an official spokesperson of any presidential candidate. Is that the kind of rhetoric that passes for political discourse in this country, today? Boo on Romney. That should not be tolerated.
