Yes, use them for insurance as well. When we were moving from Texas to
California, the left rear wheel came off my old truck (stupid kid at the
tire store got crazy with the impact). That truck was hauling a u-haul
trailer. I was driving the U-Haul van behind it. Anyway, this happened
in El Paso in the number 1 lane. The wife (ex) pulled over, I called
USAA, and they sent TWO trucks, one for mine and one for the trailer. No
hassles, no questions and my rate did not go up. I loved it. And the
dividend checks are great!

My sister and her husband (a Captain in the Army) were stationed at Fort
Irwin, Ca. in the Mojave desert. When they moved to South Carolina last
year, USAA had them take both of their cars to the body shop to get
repainted and new windshields put in, and it did not cost them a penny.
Fort Irwin is a VERY harsh environment. Everyone there has a vehicle
where the paint on the front is chipped bad and the windshields are
always badly pitted after being there a couple of years. This is another
service they offer us.
