I have seen similar cures suggested for gallstones. I have not tried them; I realized I was only having issues after doing the Cicis pizza buffet so I quit that. There are variations of this out there that do not involve a miracle product, just green apples and olive oil. I'd suggest trying that first.
For what it is worth, I have done some research on liver and herbs (as opposed to gallbladder) and none of this is mentioned anyplace reputable that I have seen. It may have value when it comes to gallbladder, I am an agnostic on this. However, if you suspect liver stress or damage, milkweed thistle *does* promote healing and there is research to this effect. It's relatively inexpensive. It is not however a "cleansing" -- it just promotes healing of any existing damage. Depending on what else is going on licorice may be worth a look, but that is less clearcut and can be dangerous if you have or have had high blood pressure. Otherwise, it's another inexpensive product that can help. Both of the above I have tried and found useful in relieving symptoms of fatigue and brain fog. Dana On Feb 13, 2008 10:09 AM, Erika L.
