That's a good point considering that the average student will file the
arcane distinction between 'scientific theory' and 'theory' in the same
mental category as quadratic equations and the date that Napoleon was
defeated at Waterloo.

But seriously, I was surprised that evolution was not already part of the
science curriculum in Florida. I don't have to go too far out on a limb to
say that it was probably taught anyway in most schools.
