Does anyone on this list have experience with a slipped(herniated) disc. I have a slipped disc in my neck. What did you find was the best treatment? I HAVE to work so surgery is not an option at this point. Heat doesn't help at all. I can't stand narcotics. Ultram helps more than Advil but still makes me a little loopy. Anyone have any ideas that will help with the pain and still allow me to function. I just want something that I can recommend to my doctor. They keep wanting to give me Valium for the muscle spasms (have tried skelaxin and it did not work at all). I have also tried Relafen. Any ideas?
