And whats the risk vs. reward? What do we lose in the long run if we were to pull out?
Seriously consider the ramifications of an Iraq that is nothing more than a satellite state of Iran. One that operates training camps and exports terror freely. I think the real problem is that we didn't finish the job the first time in 91. Thats where all these problems today stem from. We allowed the majority population of Iraq to revolt, and didn't give them the promised aid, ruining our relationship and sewing descent. If we don't stay and get it stable now we will just have to keep going back as the years progress.
