That's wishful thinking, nothing more. By now, Saddam would have been free of the UN sanctions and busily re-building his weapons arsenal. Remember the plans for nukes that scientist had buried in his back yard? You think that stuff would have just sat that for the rest of history?
We don't have any idea what Iraq or the Middle East would be like today if Saddam had not been deposed.
