Excerpt: Several months ago I re-adopted a 12 year old Bichon that had been living with my parents for the last ten years. Granted, he's a frisky little guy for being so long in the tooth, but never really seemed like much of an issue. Anyway, my dog is a 5 year old standard poodle (yes, go ahead and laugh...) that I fought for and won in my divorce. I was pretty excited to bring the little dog over here cause then the big dog would have a buddy, and they've gotten along really quite well. The problem I'm experiencing is that they're getting along TOO well as of late.
