I rarely play online games... but damn, I do love my convoluted story lines!
;^)

I like simple games as well... but honestly the Wii games are too simple.
When I'm looking for a quick fix I tend to hit up either Steam (where I've
bought the entire PopCap collection), PlayStation Network or XBox Arcade.
Games like "Everyday Shooter", "Flow", "Pain", "Peggle", "Chuzzle", etc.

The Wii games, even as casual experiences, just don't grab me. As a party
machine it's a blast... easy, pick up and play. But when I'm alone it just
doesn't surface as an option.

Although even as a party game we've had more fun recently with the PS3 Eye
games... watching somebody else play "Trails of Topaq" is one of the most
fun experiences we've ever had. ;^)

Yeah... for a while. But we don't even play that anymore (actually my five
your old does)... even my son prefers "High Velocity Bowling" on the PS3
because it offers a bit deeper of an experience. ;^)

Not at all... I lifted all rules yesterday for him and he played for nearly
8 hours straight. About half that time he had a shifting rotation of up to
three friends over and nobody seemed upset.

There's a basic "adventure" mode which is a (very toned down) platformer
experience using the characters. This isn't a traditional fighting game in
any sense - you can really play for a long time (very long if you want to
get all the trophies) all by yourself.

The online component totally sucks... my niece is getting a Wii for her
birthday soon and I had hoped this would be a nice way for my son to keep in
touch, but the online system is just plain broken. Not being able to
communicate in any meaningful way turns takes us back 10 years.

But the game itself is stunning.
