Yeah, I need a waiver for my cholesterol. Apparently the numbers were pretty high, almost 300 for HDL and over 150 for LDL. Steak and beer will do that I guess. Doc gave a recommendation for approval and now I am just waiting the the powers that be to review and grant the waiver.
And CA looks like it kicks ass, the only problem with that is that I am too old for Airborne school and that is one of the qualifications. I was a mechanic while I was active, and unless you are stationed at Bragg or Campbell, you are not going to get airborne training. I switched to infantry in the Guard because 1). We don't have tanks and Bradley's in the CANG anymore and 2). faster promotions. I am way behind my peers. 44 year old E-5. I am going to stay combat arms when I go in, just not sure what area.
