I spent a couple years working on interactive tv in 99/2000. We really
thought it would take off. But, cable companies didn't want to put any
money into upgrading their boxes. We were pretty cutting edge - had
direct access to the big wigs at Microsoft and Motorola (set top
manufacturer), and still, no traction.
