I'm at the track, and all I can say is OUCH! A rookie mistake. Never turn
right and gas it to try and save your loose car. Turn left and lock it
down. Otherwise, you're head-on into the wall, just like McDowell today.

According to Kyle Petty: "That was a *very* spectacular crash, but it wasn't
a very bad one."

Not sure why he thinks it wasn't that bad, but those were his exact words.
He said it during the taping of 'Trading Paint', which will air on SPEED TV
tomorrow (Saturday) at 8PM Eastern, and again Sunday morning at 10AM
Eastern.

I'm with John Roberts (and just about everyone else, especially those here
at the track) that replied to Kyle: "You don't think that was a bad
crash?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Love Kyle, but I've seen tons of crashes in NASCAR and on the highways.
I've seen worse ones that people walked away from, and I've seen lesser ones
that were fatal. But that was most certainly a crazy-ass, bad crash.
