A client of mine did a whois search to see if a domain was available and it was
so he told me to register. I go to godaddy and it says its taken. I got back to
network solutions and do a whois and I'm told its available but if you scroll
down on the screen you see this:

crouse-eng.com is Available – Register it Now!

        Record created on 03-Apr-2008

        Domain servers in listed order:

ns1.reserveddomainname.com<http://registrar.verisign-grs.com/cgi-bin/whois?type=nameserver&whois_nic=ns1.reserveddomainname.com>

ns2.reserveddomainname.com<http://registrar.verisign-grs.com/cgi-bin/whois?type=nameserver&whois_nic=ns2.reserveddomainname.com>

205.178.189.55<http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/arin-details.jsp?ip=205.178.189.55>

After a whois, they take ownership of the name so I have to go through them to
get it? Isn't this illegal?
