Also by placing misinformation into the media from somewhere in the fringes,
such as an Australian newspaper, or one in Bangkok etc, its more likely to
be deemed credible by the public - and less error checking when its
insinuated into the media that way. Both the old Soviet Union and the cold
war US did it all throughout the 60's to the 80's. To a great extent is
sounds very much like the old machinery is starting up again.
