I didn't have a choice. Started school as a biz major and they literally forced me to take a Computers 101 course. I begged and pleaded to be let out of the class and they told me I had to take it or switch to an arts major.
My intro to computers went even worse than I expected. My lab partner knew a little about computers so I coasted thru the first semester failing miserably. After Xmas my lab partner found himself a girlfriend in the same class and I got paired with a guy who was doing worse than I was. Early in term 2 the prof started Qbasic programming and I managed to pull my mark from a charitable F to a B-. Not bad considering how badly I was doing.
