I once lost a transmission halfway up a mountain in New York. About 10pm,
some lost little town north of Albany. That really sucked as I could not put
the car in park and the parking brake didn't work either; not that I would
have trusted it on that steep a slope. I have become quite a believer in
reliability in a car.....
