I would like to confirm that the following statement is still true for the latest versions, if possible without wading through the entire man page:
If more than one ip address is allocated, BIND picks one and returns it without regard to its status In other words, straight round robin? Yes, I know this is not a DNS list but it seems possible that someone here may know. Do recent versions of BIND support more sophisticated load balancing, or is some hardware still a best practice?
