Several years ago, I heard a NPR piece on Brazil and its use of "Flex" cars. These cars can use gasoline or alcohol or any mixture of the two.
Here is a link to an article I found about the same thing: http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/1007/p05s01-woam.html Funny thing, if I remember correctly, is that most of these cars are built in the US, then shipped to Brazil. The also cost the same as traditional cars, not having the extra expense that hybrids have. Also, the alcohol cost about 1/3 of the price of gasoline and burns cleaner, meaning a lesser pollution, which I know is important to many people. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:260337 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
