I got a new Sansa 280 8GB Player from Amazon.com last month for ~$90... I love it. Rocking out to some Hypnotic Brass Ensemble right now.
Pros: Easy-peasy setup and use. +1 on the long battery life. Cons: strange menu system. Haven't quite got the hang of it just yet. Playlists not really supported, there's a "Go List" but I'd like to be able to have my music stored and play by list rather than by album or by artist... or alpha sort... (If someone recognizes that i might be missing how to set this up and knows how, then please feel free to hip me to the square) thanks! > A really great price for a great music player (I bought the 4 Gig last month > for $10 cheaper... shoulda waited). > > Battery life is amazing for a color-screen player - I easily get 20 hours of > playback.
