Ehhh... Until Bio-diesel really catches on it's really expensive to produce, and not easy to do so. It does require more frequent fuel filter changes, because of the alcohol in the mix (until the gunk is dissolved out of the fuel lines)
And diesel provides tons of torque, but you can't beat gasoline engines for top line speed. -- Scott Stewart ColdFusion Developer SSTWebworks 4405 Oakshyre Way Raleigh, NC. 27616 (919) 874-6229 (home) (703) 220-2835 (cell) -----Original Message----- From: Gruss Gott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 21, 2008 2:45 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: I think there's going to be a surge in prius purchases now > Zaped wrote: > 41mpg? Provides low-cost (possibly free) migration path to fully renewable sustainable 2.) Requires no new engine, fuel, design, or fuel distribution technology (truly green) 3.) Allows for significant performance (customer delight) Hybrids are an evolutionary dead-end in my opinion, but if what you say is true we may never find out because VCRs - oops - hybrids will win. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:260483 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
