We believe in the mission. I still believe we as a nation are safer fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan than if we brought the troops home. We consolidate the enemies attacks overseas, and minimize the impact domestically.
It has less to do with the president than the mission, that and truth be told, soldiers mainly want to be deployed. When I first came on here, Clinton was our president and I was still on the very tail end of my active duty stint. Several people tried to bait me into talking smack on Clinton, something I love to do, but I wouldn't. He was the commander in chief, and to us that means more than you'd think.
