I picked up my bifocals yesterday.
Still getting used to some of the visual bending effects that happen when I turn my head from side to side. Still getting used to holding my head at a different angle when working on a computer. The other day I looked at the backs of my hands up close and for the first time noticed how much older they looked. They looked a whole lot younger when my up-close vision was blurred a bit. I'm getting old. Suddenly I want a cup of tea served on an old lace doily. Time to load up John McCain's Virtual Fireplace on the Wii and try to break my previous high score of 3. Then it's dinner at 4:30 PM sharp down at Picadilly's, and maybe afterward on I'll turn on CBS until I fall asleep at 8:00. I just wish they still showed that JAG.
