Rosewood has more color and constrast, and tends to have more burling.

Cocobolo Rosewood is probably the most beautiful.  I used to make gunstocks
and pistol grips out of it.

The only thing about Cocobolo is that it's poisonous to burn (like mango
wood), so if you see a bunch of dead hippies lying around, you'll know they
tried to make a really awesome-looking pipe out of it. :)
