I did the Pocket Fisherman commercial when I was 10 (37 years ago), it was my first commercial, and I wasn't a member of the Screen Actors Guild yet, so I earned $100 and zero royalties, but I got to keep the wardrobe I wore for the shoot. That was it. What was super cool was that the DP drove one of those silver Mercedes with the gullwing doors that today go for like a half million bucks at auction. I just stood there and drooled. Then his girlfriend walked by, and I drooled some more. I don't have a Pocket Fisherman anymore (I don't fish), but I remember how much I genuinely liked using it back then.
