Why not? I'm not a McCain supporter at all, but he certainly seems honorable. The Iraq war sucks because it's getting US soldiers killed for dubious reasons...not because it pisses off the French. I want a president who will do what is RIGHT and BEST for America....not what will look good to everyone else. > I also think that any > continuation of current economic policy risks implosion and chaos. Just to > spell it out, this rules out McCain. I assume you are referring to the out of control spending...especially for the Iraq war. I think hope is necessary. Hope is a good thing...maybe the best thing. - Andy Dufresne > Half the problem in the economy right now is > consumer confidence. The consumer confidence poll is such an intriguing one, especially when you follow it up with a specific question about how each polled person is doing. When the media gets mixed up into a fury about how the economy is bad bad bad....consumer confidence plummets. But if you ask those very same people how they are doing personally, they reply much differently. Put another way, this fickle consumer confidence is really a house of cards, built and then deconstructed, reflecting more a perception than a reality. -- I don't have pet-peeves I have full psychotic hatreds ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:262801 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
