I mostly know about Ontario and yes you can smuggle stuff into canada in the
region, but this requires a boat and probably detailed local knowledge. I
know that even the lostest roads into the US from Quebec have a checkpoint,
at least in the area of Vermont. Maine might conceivably be wilder....but we
are talking about a lot of trouble here to bring in one gun.
