I've not been to France for about 3 years and miss it quite a bit - Paris is my 2nd favorite city. I love the 16th if you're familiar with the arrs (since at least there nobody speaks english which means no tourists and a true paris city living feel). I always found that if you at least said one word of French you never had problems. I couldn't count the number of times I heard someone say, "no english" and then speak to me in english because I tried to speak french and their english was better than my french. Anyhoo, paris rocks!
