You must think I am unemployed and have large amounts of time for fact-gathering and the compiling of statistics. I have lots of better things to do than compile evidence in support of the obvious. Here are a few things I know:
- Troop deaths are down, way down - Violence is general is way down - Oil is flowing in record amounts - the insurgency in Anbar is over - the insurgency in the south is over - the insurgency in Sadr City is dormant, though it remains to be seen if it is over - the insurgency in the northeast is gasping for air and on the verge of being wiped out - The elected government of Iraq is standing up and suggesting that they should be running things within a set timeframe. That all looks pretty good to me, almost like ... progress. On Tue, Jul 15, 2008 at 9:06 PM, Gruss wrote: >> Mo wrote: >> So point me at some irrefutable proof that we've accomplished >> anything.
