Some people dislike socialism as much as some people on this list dislike conservatism. :)
Me personally when i think about socialism i think about how <CF_SARCASM>wonderful</CF_SARCASM> socialized medicine is in canada, uk and to a less extent europe. (Only becuase i know less about the horrors of the medical systems in other european countries) I don't like some of the horror stories that come out of socialized medical systems. I really am not a big fan of socialism either. I look at europe as a prime example of some big reasons that socialism does not fit my tastes personally. And while it can be said there are major issues with the medical system in america it can also be said that as long as you have the money for medical care you have less risk then say the homeless guy on the street. Is that fair? I don't think so. Is it fair that the bum on the street gets the same medical coverage as me? Of course. I think the bureaucratic snafu you would have is going to be pretty unpleasant.
